ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Port of Cairnryan Ltd updated the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) prepared for the 2007 Harbour Empowerment Order for what was then a much larger port development proposal. The EIA considered and modelled impacts such as noise during construction and considered ways to minimise disturbance. The EIA also assessed any potential for impact from construction and operation of the new linkspan on Loch Ryan and its wildlife.
